1. Market Risk Manager, Saudi Arabia

Gulf Connexions has been mandated to find a Market
Risk Manager for a leading Bank in Saudi Arabia. The
successful candidate has to take responsibility for
monitoring and managing FX risk, Liquidity risk,
Interest rate Risk and market risk at the group
level.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for establishing, monitoring and
reporting all risk positions within theTreasury and
Investment Group.

• Reporting all risk exposures to the designated members of senior management on a periodic basis.

• Maintain consistent revaluation policy to
ensure marking-to-market integrity of prices,
volatility, interest rate benchmarks and pricing
model validation for trading and banking book.

• Maintain and improve risk measurement
framework of Economic Capital and Stress Testing in
the Bank.

• Setup and review of all procedures to ensure
that Treasury maintains a risk profile that is
within the limits established by Treasury Policy
Guide, ALCO, Market Risk Policy Guide and other best
banking practices.


Requirements:

• Degree from well reputed International University, ideally financial qualifications such as MBA or CFA are preferred.

• At least 7 years of extensive exposure in
Treasury, Risk and Investment exposure in a bank in
the GCC.

• Bilingual- Arabic as well as English is a plus.

2. Treasury and Credit Auditor, Bahrain

Our client, a prestigious Middle East based bank is
looking for a Treasury and Credit Auditor to join
their expanding team in Bahrain. The ideal candidate
who reports to the Head ofTreasury, Credit & Ongoing
Audit has to perform overall risk assessment of
credit and treasury businesses of the bank and
assist with the preparation of annual audit plan.


Responsibilities:

Develop audit programmes to reflect the detailed
risk assessment and efficient performance of audits
of Treasury and Credit areas.

Review of audit papers and audit reports prepared,
to assess whether all the planned audit work is
completed and all material issues are included in
the audit report.

Assess through planned audit compliance to the
bank's approved policies and procedures, regulatory
requirements, applicable laws and financial
reporting standards.

Assist in managing the internal audits of credit
granting and review, credit administration, remedial
management, treasury dealing, treasury operations
and risk management functions.

Evaluate impact of introduction of new processes or
changes to existing Credit and Treasury processes
over the risk assessments and formulate changes to
audit plans, centres or strategies. Requirements:

Minimum of a BA in Accounting from a recognized
institution, ideally with a professional accounting
qualification from a recognized institution.

3. Senior ALM Analyst, Bahrain

Our client, a leading financial investment bank is
looking for a Senior ALM Analyst to join its
expanding team in Bahrain. The ideal candidate will
be responsible for maintaining all reports and
analyses prepared by the ALM Department in the
monitoring of asset allocation for client
portfolios.



Responsibilities:

Keep abreast with current and projected market
financial conditions and assesses their impact on
asset allocation.

Identify client liability maturity profiles and
derive liquidity requirements and monitor any other
client portfolio construction constraints.

Develop complex financial models and conduct
financial analyses on a broad range of asset
allocation and portfolio construction issues (across
asset classes).

Support the ALM Head in highlighting to the asset
management team about the risk appetite available in
the mid to long term depending on the clients
investment objectives and constraints. Requirements:

University degree in Banking and Finance.

Minimum 5 years of experience, preferably some time
in a similar role in an investment bank in the GCC.

Prior experience in asset management (asset
allocation / risk management / fund management),
research (economics, financial modelling).

4. Reporting Analyst, UAE

Our Client, a leading investment bank has an opening
for a strong Reporting Analyst to work in their Abu
Dhabi office. The role has high exposure to the
trading floor and the ideal candidate has to be
autonomous in producing reports and statistics on
the flow.


Responsibilities:

• Create and present internal reports of
client volumes and P&L and the external reports of
client volume for partners.

Compute daily reports on volume, commissions and
swaps.

Provide statistics on the flow (volume per currency,
etc).

Spearhead improved efficiency and simplification.

Provide on-demand reporting and dashboards.

Requirements:

Bachelor degree or equivalent from a leading
University preferably with a finance orientation.
Minimum of 5 years' of experience in a similar role
in the GCC.

Proven track record of arranging debt finances.

Significant experience with VBA & Database.
