1. Develop and maintain high quality code for complex applications
2. Anticipate problems and future technical needs and take necessary corrective steps to ensure they are addressed.
3. Have a wide range of mobile development experience and an understanding of mobile software design concepts and are happy and confident in making suggestions, inputting into our process and improving quality
4. Passionate about programming, you’ll be always on the lookout for new technologies that could help us to build a first-class product
5. Android Development: Java, Xml, Eclipse ADT or AndroidStudio IDE, Gradle.
6. Strong object-oriented programming and design skills
7. 5+ years of hands-on Android experience in a professional environment
8. Having published at least one app published in the Play Store would be a great plus
9. Comfortable with common demands of Android app development: compatibility libraries, responsive design using fragments, APIs of Google Play Services library like Maps and Analytics, dependency injection libraries like Guice, experience with A/R libraries like Metaio or Wikitude, consume of REST services using Google Client or Apache HttpClient libraries. Direct experience with every single one isn’t required, but you should have a healthy exposure to many of them
10. Experience with payment networks
11. Knowledge of other mobile platforms
12. Familiarity with issue tracking systems (e.g. JIRA)
13• Experience writing unit tests using modern testing tools
14• Must have strong problem solving skills: must be creative, analytical, adaptable, logical and thorough and be willing to work in a team environment
15• Arabic knowledge is a plus.
