Job Essentials:
S/he will investigate and analyze the technical and engineering needs of electric cooperatives. Engineering, construction and operation standards will be analyzed. Further, practices and policies will need to be investigated, in order to meet today’s needs and tomorrow’s challenges. The senior Director will focus on evolving changes in technologies and practices in the industry.
Qualification and Experience:
• The ideal candidate must be an Electrical or Mechanical Engineer, preferably an MBA from a reputed university.
• Should have 20+ years of technical and management experience in either or all of the Generation, Transmission and Distribution functions at reputable large scale power sector organizations.
• Should possess leadership qualities, including but not limited to excellent interpersonal communication, team motivation and public speaking.
