The General Manager - SHE, Security, & Emergency Response is responsible for leading the safety, health and environmental activities, security, and emergency response at the Yanbu Site and the Jeddah Office.


The General Manager will implement and administer safety, health, and environmental management plans, policy, standards and programs at the sites to establish world-class performance in Occupational Safety & Health, Process Safety, and Emergency Response.


The position is also responsible for the technical management of the sites’ security systems and processes
The position works collaboratively with the line managers providing guidance and counsel to help them successfully administer their responsibilities in keeping their people
injury free. The General Manager also empowers department staff in their effort to solving problems and developing plans for improvement.


About You

BS in Engineering/Chemistry or Environmental Science; Has broad training in the fields of safety, environmental protection and industrial security or industrial management.

Course work or certifications specializing in Safety, Health, & Environment.


Function Specific:

• 15+ years experience in the field of Safety, environment, emergency planning and security.
• Experience implementing Safety, Health, & Environmental Systems
• In-depth knowledge of SH&E disciplines
• Supervisory/management experience
• Professional membership is a plus
• Knowledge of SH&E and related legislation and standards
• Financial acumen
• SH&E Policies and procedures
• Report/submission writing
• Leadership/management skills
• HR policies and procedures
• Computer literacy (MS Office, SAP, Lotus Notes).
• Six Sigma training a plus
Business/Industry Specific:

• Familiar working within a manufacturing environment preferred.
Familiar within the Chemical sector or related industry preferred
